Was it moving? The photo seems a little blurry and the shutter speed isn't super fast.

"Kriegslokomotive" as in war locomotive? Sounds like there is an interesting bit of history here.

An interesting piece. It appears to have been repainted as an outdoor museum piece but that does not detract from its historical importance. It would probably be a good subject for photographing at different angles from ground level.

That's painted in almost photographic grey. Steam engines when outshopped were often painted grey so that photos could be taken to give better results on B&W film.

Sorry, didn't notice the comments right away.
No, it was not moving, but the bus from which i shot it was. So there is a small blur.
It has most likely been repainted many times since about 1942 when probably was produced.
Nazi Germany produced these Series 52 locomotives to be used in the war effort, thus the nickname. When the Germans withdraw many were left behind in Eastern Europe, plus some taken from Eastern Germany as war reparations.
Seems to have been a real juggernaut because many are still running as museum locos.
