Interesting structure.
I think by making the photo a bit brighter and perhaps adding a little more sharpening/clarity/texture you could bring out more of the structure.

With all the flowers being posted in the nature category it might be an idea to introduce a flowers only category?

Yes, JW - I have also found myself wondering whether the "Nature" category needs to be broken into sub-groups.

Re your suggestions about brightening, and "adding a little more sharpening/clarity/texture" I have no doubt all that might be possible. But beyond cropping, and one or two attempts to lighten some under-exposed pics, I am a total novice still with photographic software. Give me a Spreadsheet, Word Processor, or Database, and I'm your man. But I have yet to to even poke at the features of photo-processing software.
