This is a great image! Can you brighten it up some (not a lot as I see the dark mood trying to be presented) without picking up noise?

A magical image, Hemppo! A suggestion of the supernatural there - great atmosphere.

It looks as if the log is resting on the head of the right-hand owl.

Fantastic capture! I really like it in the naturally muted lighting.

Thank you all for your kind comments! I tried to keep the mood of the photo the way I saw it. It was close to midnight in a dark forest and it was pretty dark even though nights here in Finland are pretty bright at mid summer.

I was lycky to see those owls as I was walking with my dog in the woods and saw those logs at distance and they seemed bit odd. I stopped and after a while I realised there were more than just logs. I stood still and started shooting. Everything was over in about 10 to 15 seconds as owls noticed me or my dog and changed place. I left them alone and changed direction so I wouldn't disturb them anymore.

Looks like something out of a Harry Potter movie. Great job!
