The weather forecast said "Dry & Sunny"
Posted By: dave kitson, 10-23-2008, 08:22 AM

They lied......

But I didn't find out till I had got out of bed at 0400hrs and driven to Snowdonia...

However, the rain did eventually stop:

Is it ever really "dry & sunny" in the UK?

Gorgeous landscapes none the less. Third shot really grabs me.

Not fair...

You've posted more great shots in this thread than I've managed to shoot all month. Very nice series.

What a wonderful set. Really love that mountain goat, or whatever he is. That one made my day! Amazing.

Great shots Dave. Since I got the K20 I don't worry about the weather too much other than my lenses aren't sealed. But I normally tuck the camera body and lenses into my jacket till I get ready to shoot then I take it out and put it back afterwords.

Great series. I like #4 and #5 the best. I like the way the rough rocks sort of play against the clearing gray clouds. Number 5 has that gushing water coming down the gorge, great play of colors and a bridge out of one of Tolkein's works.

Great series Dave. Weather or not, I think Britain has some of the best natural 'photography light' you can find anywhere.
