Nicely done Tonytee! Terrific colors and composition. Our Christmas cactus had an off year.

I'm 75 and have one that was originally my mother's. Nice shot of a gorgeous bloom.

Beautiful colors in a lovely flower image. Love the orange/green balance. The white stamens and red pistil really complete the picture. Thanks.

Nice image of a more unusual flower, Tony. Good framing, great colours. As TedH42 said, the detail with the pistils really works well.

For 2019 pretty much. We have three Christmas Cactus and most years they do pretty well. This last Christmas not so much. One plant had three blooms. But again. Nice job Tony. Looks great.

Thanks very much sir. According to my wife who just happens to be a Master Gardener, these plants rarely have a dormant season, however it does happen.

Cheers,

Many thanks to you fellow site supporter. TT Very glad I decided to invest in the k-7 and that Pentax-M 40~80mm Macro and totally Manual lens. (Old School)

I think it's been three years since they've been repotted. They'd probably be happier if their roots had some more space and fresh soil. And probably wouldn't hurt to feed them occasionally either.
