Very nice photo. These are very nice looking gulls. You did a nice job with the exposure, considering their high contrast white and black colors.

Gorgeous Shot! Its so hard with seagullsat the beach to not Blow out the whites.. you had some great lighting there! Did you use any filters? I have to say I am really impressed with the 50-500 f/4.5-6.3 EX DG I have read it gets a little soft on the 500 mm end, but this shot begs to differ.

I had very good, if not a little bright early morning light. I did have to lower the hi lights in PP and play around with a few settings. only a UV filter on the lens, I also love this lens but have not noticed any softness yet :-) thanks for your kind comments:-)

Beautiful image, with excellent detail, especially in the whites. Such colorful beaks! Their eyes, though small, really attract one's attention. Well done. Thanks.

Good picture. Looks almost like both use lip-stick.
