Jokulsarlon at sunrise
Lens: Hasselblad XCD 21mm Camera: Hasselblad X1D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F16

The glacial lagoon at Jokulsarlon is a classic spot in Iceland, for tourists and photographers alike. And for a reason: it is just amazing to see the multi-coloured icebergs slowly and majestically leaving the lagoon heading towards the sea, where they will dissolve forever. Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 21mm and Formatt Hitech Filters Firecrest Ultra.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Looks like you can see a little under the icebergs too. Great shot.

Thank you very much Bertrand! Yes, they actually are full of colours, some are that blue, some have a pinking cast, some have black stripes... just a phenomenal place for photography!

Yes, you normally can - the water is very clean, being glacier water

Just beautiful, I'd almost just be tempted to just sit there and watch a scene like this before me.

Thank you very much indeed! I love my job, and one of the reasons why I do is just what you said here - I really feel privileged and lucky to be able to see all the landscapes and scenery I see. Being able to photograph them to bring them to people who wasn't there to experience them with me is just the cherry on top!
