Caught this guy grooming himself in a pond. He was startled & seemed outraged.

Thank you. Can't imagine why he was pissed. I did not use a flash even though my wife insists that I took the shot in a studio.

Great capture! That Tokina AT-X 400/5.6 SD lens is really a capable lens in the right hands, Looks like you have it down. I find white birds really challenging with it, but you nailed this one well.

Thank you. I love the lens. Weighs slightly over 2 lbs, is about a foot long & has AF. It also works great with the Kenko 1,5x & the Tamron-F 1.4. It is very hand-holdable & you can have it in your bag all the time & even take it hiking.
