Yes, I laid right down in the snow to capture this graceful grass arch.
It looks like a girls hair with a bow in it almost.
Color and b/w
K-3 w/ f28mm 2.8

I think I prefer B&W one, original pic !

Personally I like the one in color, nice subtle tone. Both are nice though!

At age 8, I saw a similar scene after an awkward face plant in the snow bank . I like these photos much more . Thanks for posting .

Very nice image. I prefer the color because of the beautiful golden color of the grass against the snow.

Thank you all for your comments.
I usually favor b&w in cases like this but couldn't choose a favorite in this case, probably because a local group is looking for "Splash of Color" in our winter landscape. It was the color that originally drew me to the scene.
I also edited this high contrast version which is growing on me.

pichaser - lol - most scenes are preferable to a face plant in a snow bank :-)
