New Born Moose Calf
Lens: Sigma 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Camera: Pentax K1 Photo Location: Matanuska-Susitna, Alaska ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F7.1

We found these in an open area along Knik River Road in Alaska's Matanuska-Susitna Borough. This is something not often seen.

Oh yes, if you have ever seen what a cow moose can do to the human body you can rest assured this was not a "close up".

That was a really great set of pics. I've never seen a moose with her calf in the wild, must have been very surreal. Thanks for sharing!
