These two little guys were near Lake Urana Aquatic Reserve. Unfortunately the lake was almost dried up when I passed through on my way to Melbourne and back in December 1919 ...that should have been 2019

Very attractive birds - I hope they didn't starve or die of thirst before the "Aquatic Reserve" got water again.

Nice shot Peter, but what interests me most is your time machine. I hope you have secured the patent. Will look forward to your photos of thylacines, King Island emus, Gastric-brooding frogs, Eastern hare-wallabies, Desert bandicoots and Lesser Bilbies.

If only we could go back and rescue some of those species which are now gone forever.

Nice shot of the two male Red-rumped Parrots. The local ones in Canberra have been very happy with all the grass seed around after recent rain!
