Been there myself and it's awesome! If you're still in the area, get yourself up to the Auto und Technik Museum in Sinsheim. It's worth a visit if you're also heading towards Heidelberg.

Back about 1960 I was on Colorado Blvd around Arcadia when a lad in 300SL decided he would race a '58 Pontiac Star Chief Catalina - he lost. The 300SL is one beautiful ride though. Well done.
