Fossil Sands, Isle of Arran, Scotland
Lens: Hasselblad XCD 21mm Camera: Hasselblad X1D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 3s Aperture: F11

The Isle of Arran features some truly unique geological features. The Fossil Sands of Corrie are among the most photogenic of these, a real photographer's playground. 3.2 seconds of exposure with my Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 21mm and my trusty Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Great photograph. Love the colour, composition, lighting and that wide angle 'look' that draws the eye along that spine like, rock formation.

An exception photo in my view.

Grand stuff from a great location! I know that shore, it's just one of many, many places on Arran for finding good compositions they don't call it "Scotland in miniature" for nothing.

Wonderful photo, Vieri - as always. Just when I think I've seen everything, old Mother Earth shows me something new.
