Kuromon mae ryokuchi, or "The Garden in front of the Black gate" is just outside one of the main entrances of Kanazawa Castle, the Kuro Mon or Black Gate. This Edo style residence has a lovely moss garden. Although the Camellias were flowering, the garden would be at it's best in Spring.
