My son - trying not to look guilty... (he wasn't, I just bugged him while he was playing with his play-doh...

mixed window light and an overhead tungsten. (had to go B&W with that combo )

I bet it's impossible to ground him with those eyes What an excellent portrait! I also really like your black and white conversion. What method did you use?

Yes, it is hard to get mad at him - he knows how to use those eyes!! he wasn't sad here though, I just caught him with that look.

As fas as the B&W conversion, I just used the "portrait" setting converting to B&W using Photoshop Elements 5, well then I tweaked the levels a bit more - I'm never really satisfied with the vanilla conversion, or even just changing to grayscale...
