nice high contrast stuff - what film?

love the owl - and the footprints - (or whatever the heck that top one is - I can't tell if it's leftover footprints in slushy stuff, or something else..)

Wonder why the edges of that first one seem to be much higher contrast, where the middle seems foggy. I'd burn that in a bit to match the contrast along the edges. Very cool stuff.

Thanks for your comments and suggestion ;-)

The first picture is of ice circles that formed on the top of the water in Lake Ontario.

The film is Fuji Superia X-TRA ISO400 and converted to B&W

I like your work and your eye.
Those plant stems surrounded by 'snow ghosts' are very intriguing.
Have never seen ice make these formations...very interesting.

The first shot will win the abstract contest in photographyvoice.com for sure

Great composition and emphasis on the texture

Nice abstract, it kept me interested for a while. Great shot of the deer high tailing it....I believe that's where that expression came from.

That's one crazy first photo there and I really liked it. I agree with Roentarre's opinion - give it a try!
