I like this! Great detail, the patterns of the plumage clearly defined - and the feet vanishing into the wet sand telling the story.

The image gifts us a very nice viewing.

Outstanding photo, Todd. I don't think I've ever seen (or ever heard of) a whimbrel. Even old geezers like me still have stuff to learn.

I didn't look back at it, I processed it a while ago. I would say that I went to 40-50 in Lightroom.

Thanks Jer! I read that they migrate down along the West Coast. It is the first one that I have seen.
