Nice Angel (and angle) there James - that is a sharp shot.

Wonderful how you have combined these elements into one picture. Using DOF to your advantage with the OOF brick wall leading to the beautiful Kate, in turn leading to the high contrast of the background which is totally undefined and so you cannot see where it ends.

I like the completely over-exposed background, and leaning against a brick wall is classic portraiture. Nice stuff.

PS: She dresses funny. Looks like track pants and leather jacket.

Wow, your analysis is way beyond me (I did not think that much). I just took it and snapped. Otherwise my life is so dull at the moment

Thanks, Dan.

Her dress code is funny. It was not a tracksuit pants but some skirt with stripes. It makes the individual more dilated in appearance...

That's fancy-talk for "makes you look fat".

You don't need to analyse anymore, you've been doing it long enough that you just do it without thinking James.

Wonderful shot James. The lens maybe a gem, but it's only as good as the photographer on the other end.

You are so blunt!

You are not going to be popular among the ladies

You are too flattering. It is not that often that I hear compliments and thanks for the kind words.

Maybe she was laughing at me being a little stiff. That was what happened every time I finished a shoot with a model. I must look stupid or weird...

Very nice, James! I like the DOF, but even more I like the pose, the way she holds her head! Did you PP her face, btw, she has so soft skin, beautiful!

nice shot, but the purple hands kind of bother me :S and is it just me, or are the eyes and lips a little soft? shouldn't they be uber sharp?
