Had the most enjoyable afternoon ever visiting the Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird Aviaries with my son and grandson at the end of December. This was one of the shots taken inside the aviary. The birds were extremely people friendly. Perching on peoples' heads, shoulders, hats, arms, hands was the rule rather than the exception. (That is my son's head in the picture.)

Thanks, Todd. I think I took four shots of this one - and with each "click" the macaw stretched its neck closer and closer towards my lens, until I ended up with this one!!

They were, as you say "very social and entertaining".
