Beautiful snow texture, Quebec, CANADA. · 03:25 PM

The glittering texture on the snow drew my attention for this winter picture. I was using my newly-acquired 645 A-series 75 mm f/2.8 lens @ f/11. I appreciate it more and more as I'm getting used to its peculiar FOV.

Very nice photo, what do you mean by "peculiar?" In 35mm "FF" equivalent, will it not be about 40mm?

We are so spoiled, using zoom lenses, that being stuck with a single focal length like 75 mm seems awkward and "peculiar", kind of limiting and forcing you to work a little more to get interesting pictures. I find the 75 mm particularly annoying sometimes because of its lack of depth-of-field but I'm working on it ... lol!

75 X 0,8 = 60 mm equivalent on the 645Z. BTW I also have an A 55 mm f/2.8 that approximates a 45 mm in FF and provides more depth-of-field, making it easier to use in landscapes.
