A little Meguiar's Ultimate Detailer will buff this baby right out.

Great pix, caught that old 'stocker' well.

Very interesting picture. I checked out driver name painted on the door of this old Chevy race car. From what I could find our, it looks like ' Herbert Cates' used to race at Occoneechee Speedway.

Yes, that's where it is at. The last race at the track was in the late 60's. .9 mile dirt track and the last race was won by Richard Petty, from what I can gather. The forest had reclaimed the track but in recent years there has been some restoration work and it is open as a walking trail. I live pretty close to it but only recently found out about it.

very cool image! I still fell the potential for speed even with all the rust.

It's gotta be way lighter than original. A lot of metal is no longer in place!
