Is it a sheep - no it is a labradoodle
Posted By: mingdie, 10-26-2008, 01:29 AM

Hi guys. Here I am enjoying life as only an labradoodle can do.

Then suddenly a pair of scissors appear and look at the result. Is this from a sheep or lama? No it is from a labradoodle.

Look at me know. I look like something the moths got in to.

But never mind. At least I am now sleeker and faster.

Cheers

Great pictures. I have a Goldendoodle the same color;probably a bit smaller (60 lbs.).
I've been tempted to shear him, but since I can't get my own beard even, I've never tried it. Looks like a sweet dog.

Thanks for the comments

DamnBrit The funny thing is that he actually runs faster when he is sheared.

Daacon I find it very hard to capture him in full speed. But I am quite happy with #4.

PeterAM My wife takes care of the shearing. But to be honest it is not that hard. He is a placid dog and enjoy being groomed and cut.

Thanks. In Australia labradoodles have been breed for 20 years and was first breed for an allergi friendly guide dog. There is a breeding standard and it may soon be a taken up as a breed of its own.

Labradoodles sound, look and act funny.

He looks like a sheep dog in the first picture.

ftpaddict They are as fun as the name. He sometimes look like a sheep.

roentarre Labradoodles doesn't shead the hair so it is more like a sheeps wool. We have to shear him just lika a sheep and that is what is in photo #2. We could probably make a wooly hat out of it.

Of course, he's more streamlined.
