Some beautiful classic cars
Posted By: nirudha, 10-26-2008, 04:20 PM

A friend of mine called me from a car show so I grabbed my camera and drove over. It was dark so I had to make do with the artificial light. I used my SMC FA50/1.4 for these. Hope you like them. As always any feedback is most welcome.

p.s. I decided on lots of contrast and saturation for the processing.

Nice series. I love those old cars. In my life, I owned two of the models. The mustang, except mine was a 69 and I think that one is a 70 and the 58 Pontiac. The Pontiac was my first car.

I like that first one. It isn't about a car qua car, but about a car in a story. I find the over-processing in the lower right to be intrusive, but the rest of the image has a bit of glam that appropriately goes just beyond what the eye would see.

I like 1 and 4. The pp works for them as does the lighting.

Nice series Nirudha. Effective use of POV and DOF. The FA 50 can be fun.

Groovy contrast and colours. Take care of the purple fringing, though.
