Beware the Orcs that lurk within... "Meat's back on the menu" apparently.

Nice shot. I don't see any orcs. It looks more like the "Womping Willlow" from the Harry Potter books - or the forest where Aragog the giant spider lived. Take care out there. We (some of us, anyway) might miss you if you suddenly stopped posting.

Thank you, but unless you had a sword made by Gondolin i.e. Glamdring, Orcrist or Sting, you had very little warning of nearby Orcs.

How strange that you should mention that... in January I did indeed develop a life threatening condition which involved two visits to the operating room, the first to keep me going long enough, to be able to conduct the second.

Only now weeks after the event, I'm able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and know for sure that it's not an oncoming train.

Hence this explains my disappearance from the forum and now my more recent activity here as I begin to recover. So I'm afraid you may well be stuck with me, for a bit longer.

I like it. To me it looks the 'hard' way to Toad Hall.

Wow, very glad to read that both OR visits achieved their purpose, you seem like such a healthy specimen that to be in close proximity to the grim reaper is a real shock. Your absence was noticed (by me, at least), I assumed you were in the Mediterranean photographing swimwear models for the common good.

Thank you for your kind words, it was a close call, a couple more days and I would have been shaking hands with the Reaper.

Hopefully all behind me now, time to move forward again.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. Didn't realize you were ill. Been there, done that at my advanced age and glad things are working out for you.

Take care,

Les
