This is the view of the Niyodo River valley at Hikichi in Niyodogawa town, Agawa district, Kochi Prefecture, Japan.

We had lunch at the Hikichibashi restaurant behind where I stood to take this photo. I had the biggest Soba noodles I've ever eaten! The river valley was spectacular.

The river, road, terraces and repeating patterns in the mountains is really pleasing to look at. Cool shot!

Thank you! It was actually really hard to capture the beauty of the place. The light was harsh, and there was a lot going on in the scene!
