Very nice shot. It looked like the Himalayas until I saw the road that gives it more scale!

Thank you, aye this is one of our lesser hills, I believe this one is Mullach na Maoile, 761m / 2497ft.

It almost looks like something we'd see over here, except that the valley bottom here is at a higher elevation than that...

Lovely photograph.

I haven't been in the Highlands for a long time (too long actually) and your photo reminds me of some pleasant times spent driving through this area. Over the years I've gone to the UK three times in my life...twice in the '70's, once in the '80's....and I always made sure we went to the northern parts of Scotland.

Aside from the beauty, I like the parts of the Highlands that are relatively uninhabited. I enjoy the solitude and quiet that can be found there and your picture reminds me of this.

Aye I had a close call recently, so I’m still more aware of the good things life has to offer.

Thank you for your kind comment.

Thank you, it sounds to me like your due another visit here.

Your right... there is still a beautiful desolate feeling about the place, this has not changed at all over the years,

The only noise was the wind when I took this image.
