This does not do justice to how elegant the bird really looked, being just a fraction out of focus. It was a very dull overcast day.

i think this is a superbly captured image.

It reminds me of the XB-70 Valkyrie, with is anhedral wingtips.

Nice shot. They certainly can teach us something about aero engineering. But I guess they have been a long time perfecting it.
