Signs of Spring

Mine are about 4 inches out of the ground here in CT.. soon..but not soon enough.

Thanks Bengan. This is a close crop of a 16MP original. I'm never sure if I do a good job of composing cropped images. Just bought Bryan Peterson's 'Understanding Composition' based on a recommendation on another thread here on PF; haven't read it yet. I would say I'm an advanced beginner regarding composition. This crop doesn't use the rule of thirds, but it does sorta have a line extending into the lower right corner. This blossom was the main subject, and some of the background and other blossoms was/were distracting.

I'm taking a trip to Newfoundland with my sister in early summer if the corona virus doesn't shut down the airlines. My sister says there will be a photo op at every inch along the way. I'm hoping to be much more well-versed in composition by then. Many of the images in your albums are instructive.

A very well executed image of a very beautiful, colorful and bright Daffodil. My personal opinion is that you nailed the composition admirably. Well done sir. :
