Dressed for Love

Great job, as always, Susan. My heron buddies over at the Sea Center haven't been around lately, and I miss them. For one thing, they're striking animals and also they're pretty cooperative subjects.

Susan, thats a Gorgeous headshot of a tricolored heron. I too love them when get that breeding shine on. Nice image!

You are right about that Jer. There were lots of them on Merritt Island this year. Fun birds to watch.

Wow! Tri-colored Heron are show offs from what I am seeing here. Very nice capture! I think it is still too cold up here for anything interesting like color changing in our local birds here in Maine.
