On Final Approach
Lens: DA55-300mm f4.5-6.3 PLM Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia ISO: 320 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F8

A Cormorant coming in for landing in a tree. Amazing how they can do it with those enormous feet. This is pretty heavily cropped but is a testament to the 55-300 PLM capabilities. However it was improved quite a bit in PP by Topaz Denoise AI. I am totally impressed with how that program cleans up a photo.

Nice ! We get there here every spring never even came close to capturing a landing.

It really shows how much control they have being able to land on tiny tree branches like that.

Yep, this is the kind of shot that makes you yell: "Got HIM!!" when you get it back home and look at it. Good one, Todd
