They do... she had to wash her tent out in the the lake... I think all weasels do. Skunks are just the ones that have perfected the art.

My son has had weasels climb into his pocket with no ill effects. They only do it when threatened for the most part, and skunks are more easily threatened than most other weasels.

I've been close to guys often without a hint of being sprayed. But if you're going to punch him the nose, you should probably expect it.
