Quarantined in Cali
Lens: Vivitar 200 F3.5 Camera: KP Photo Location: Benny
Posted By: Billy Joe, 03-19-2020, 11:45 AM

Stuck at home and bored, so I grabbed an new/old M42 Vivitar 200 3.5. If you can get passed the CA/PF it is a fun lens. Min. focus distance is LONG.
I kind of like the OOF area, busy in a psychedelic way. haha

thanks for looking...

It has been a long time since I posted a thread. This somehow went to ABSTRACT... how do I select which group it goes in?

I have been thinking of photos in the COVID-19 era I could do, too. I am not stuck at home, yet. I am practicing social distancing everywhere including my law office. If I can get a few hours on a weekend, I'd like to do a trip around NE Iowa photographing churches. We have some really grand old architecture in NE Iowa. I suggested to a Catholic priest who is on a board for a residential care facility I serve on that the faith of our forefathers is apparent in old church architecture, and he - about 86 years old, and a better historian in these matters than me, suggested it was not faith as much as trying to show up the other area communities (he didn't say it, but maybe it was vanity). But, I must say 130 years later the structures and interior accoutrements make a big impression on me about the importance of their faith if they would put that much effort and expense into their endeavors.

And, one photo would speak 1,000 words. So I am limiting my words here. I need to take a short trip and entertain you.

A nice series. The 200 f3.5 lenses all seem to have been pretty good.
