Grand Central Station - NYC

I ran through there quickly a few weeks ago. Only managed a few shots. All hand held. This place is screaming for some HDR treatment. I really need to learn how to do those.

Great shots Alan. It's a shame that this country didn't keep up investment of the railway system, it's a shadow of it's former self. Safe, clean, comfortable and efficient way to travel. Perhaps things will improve.

Alan, I just noticed you've got a hair somewhere. Look at the first shot near the top on the right side.

Nice series, Alan. My favorite is #5, too.

You mentioned hdr. If you use Picasa Beta 3, and select "Collage", there is a drop down menu on the top left. If you select the multiple exposure option, you can use different exposed images to create a hdr image. I tried it when doing a hdr test and it worked fairly well.

Yeah, I saw that after I did the PP. I was too lazy to go back and fix it....

Very nice indeed! Were they all taken with the same lens (possibly the 10-17)?

I really like #5 for composition. #2 has a wide open spaces feel due to the slight barrel effect ... it just feels right.
