Monochrome Ibis

In January, I photographed several ibises at the Texas Sea Center (now temporarily closed); I targeted a couple of shots for conversion to B&W and finally got around to doing this one today.

This is really outstanding Jer! I love the composition and the contrast in black & white is perfect. Well done, Todd

A lovely photograph, such delicate shading and subtle detail on the subject. I like colour, but the various shades of B+W are more appealing to me.

This choice of B+W enhances the photo. That beady, bird eye is very sharp (great job of focus) and dare I say it...he seems to be watching the viewer like a hawk.

Very intense gaze.

Your use of light created a lot of detail for a great shot.

Thank you, and yes my IBIS was turned on! In contrast to this laconic fellow.
