We don't seem to have forests like that and that may be due to the fact we don't have Ents or dreich days.

Your photo has an otherworldly atmosphere.

It maybe your just not looking in the right places... I'm sure they both happen there too.

Ah, and fur sairtin, tis a bonny pic ye hav' thair the noo, me Mon. Is there no' a wee hobbit or twa, hidin' behind one of those trees?

I really like this one, Kerrowdown. Definitely an enchanted woods.

Aye indeed, you’d probably have conservationists chasing you too, as it’s a “Site of Special Scientific Interest” (SSSI).

I read Lord of the Rings every Christmas for 10 years, back in the 70s. Somehow many of the details are forgotten.

I saw the films a few times too. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences, and still own copies of both the books and the movies.
