Nice images. I like how you caught the convolutions and ridges in the emerging leaves.

Takes me back.

My grandmother used to grow rhubarb. She'd make rhubarb pie with it, I would adjust my 2 stroke oil mix, holding the rhubarb leaves in the shade, against the exhaust pipes, while the engine was idling. Rhubarb leaves I found provided a nice contrast, so I could see the amount of blue tinged exhaust and adjust the twin carburetors to get the best equal mix. Not scientific but it worked for my Yamaha motorcycle.

BTW, grandma's rhubarb pie was excellent......and no...the rhubarb pies didn't get the oily leaves I used for fine tuning my 2 stroke engines...she used just the rhubarb.
