Old Dis-used Wooden Railway Bridge

Driving from Brisbane to Melbourne in November 192019, stopped in this small town. Walked around a drying out lake, and found this old railway bridge.

Good descriptive pic - I can see the history of the bridge starting with the uprights (guessing Ironbark or similar) through to the angle iron reinforcing for the sleepers.
Always been a sucker for a trestle bridge.

That Timber is holding up well for 1919 Terry. A well spotted subject to shoot.

The line was extended beyond Lockhart to Oaklands in 1912, passenger services were withdrawn in 1974 or 5 and freight some time after. Reckon that makes it likely that the oldest parts are, ironically, slightly older than the accidental date of 1919.
