Since I got this new (bought used but new to me) DA 55-300 mm HD lens, I'm always amazed at the results. I learned f/5.6 must be avoided because of bad vignetting, f/8 isn't optimal, f/11 is very good at the shorter focal lengths and f/16 is mandatory at the longest end. Anyway, colors are always swell. In French, they say 'chanceux comme un bossu" (lucky like a hunchback) ... that's what has happened to me with my last used lenses purchases. The last 4 or 5 lenses I got this year and last year are all superb performers, either in the 645 or the 35 mm format. Thanks for your good words.
