Thank you, I believe it’s to watch for Salmon and provide a wee bit of shelter on the more inclement days.

Salmon fishing in Scotland is a big revenue generator. So the Gillies use these sort of refuges, to ensure that the beats are active for their fee paying clients.

Thanks for posting another great image.
I was supposed to be at loch Ness this week but of course we are all now at home. Disappointing, but this site is a great solace with great imagery as well as a "virtual" tour holiday all over the world!
