Thanks. My style affords me the luxury of shooting with any lens I wish (50mm +). I used the kit lens just because I could and its a good lens optically. In essence, i could obtain three k-5s - about $600 (any camera that can be fired remotely), three DA L 55-300s - about $225, three cheap tripods - about $60, and three wireless triggers - about $90.

Set lenses to 200MM (195MM F4), camera to shutter prioty and with patience take down some of the most illusive unpredictable, af untrackable birds using nothing more than patience and preset manual focus. In regards to moving subject matter, manual focus is no different than single af or locked af. I just chose to not reset my focused position.

The limitations are going to be the camera buffer - the better the equipment, the more improved the images will be.

With my style 1 K-1 II does not equal 3 or 4 K-5s. What one camera misses the other two or three may capture leading to more unique captures.

Mixing brand equipment has revealed to me some awesome combos. Those who have faster Takumars have all the lenses they need optically.

.... and for those who relegate this style to spray and pray, check my posts and you'll see my prayers are being answered.
