I really like how "The Caledonian" has a lustrous sheen to it that almost glows, set among the very matte texture of the masonry, using different shades of the same colour monotone. The pigeon spikes are an extra bonus of a repeating pattern that adds tension to the image. This one photo could be used for a half dozen different challenges and contests.  | |
