Time to Come in From the Cold?

I had a different title in mind for this thread, but seeing Kerrowdown's picture of a reflected Alvis sent my mind off in another direction - to the world of Karla, Haydon, Mundt, Lacon, Esterhase, and all the others that inhabit that dark world of John LeCarre's - especially, of course, George Smiley.

You are starting to scare me Jer. Quite a scary moody shot. All it needs is a long shadowy person in the foreground.

Thanks, Susan.

Unfortunately, no lurking characters to capture that night. But I did have one frightening experience while shooting the pic. I had walked up the street a few houses away from our place and was standing in the middle of the empty street. As I concentrated on photographing something slithery slide between my legs and I nearly jumped out of my skin. Then I heard a familiar "meow" and looked down to see "our" cat, Tux - eyes shining with reflected street light.

You were certainly lucky it was Tux and not that other variety of black & white critter.

Thanks, Todd, as always. Yeah, I was lucky it was Tux and not a skunk or a gator!
