Soft Luminence
Lens: FA50mm f2.8 macro Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Granite Bay, CA ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F2.8

I was thrilled to have these California Poppies pop up behind my house this spring. I planted some mixed wildflower seeds a couple of years back, but never got any poppies until now

Very cool, Todd. Almost like the poppy is glowing from within.

Nice and sharp - and I like the colour of the flower as it gets lighter going up - not that you really had a lot of say in that

I have seen a lot of these but you have a beautiful version .
