Single Lyrid Meteor
Lens: Samyang 14mm f2,8 Camera: K-1ii Photo Location: Home ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F4

I attempted a capture of the Lyrids from my backyard. They were low to the horizon when I started, rising in the early hours.

I set 20 seconds, f4 and ISO 400 with a three second interval (I should have gone for 25 seconds f2.8 with a 5 second interval) and 600 shots.

As it happened I only got a few hundred. The buffer slowly filled with a slow card and tripped out. The last 300 would have been the real keepers as the shower would have been much higher.

Next time maybe.
