Traveling East on the Ortega Highway (Rte 74), you reach this vista point on Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley a few miles before Rte 74 becomes Monterey Avenue. A tortuous road permits a safe descent from the mountains to the valley. Pentax K1 + FA* 28-70 mm f/2.8 @ 37 mm FL and f/9, probably with a C.P.L.

That is a great overlook, and what looks like a fun descent into the valley.
