Friendly Deer
Lens: A 400/5.6 Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Golden, BC ISO: 1100 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F8

I was just out on an evening stroll, and the light was quite good - unfortunately everything decided that they would keep as far away from me as possible, bears were just blobs of black, deer were blobs of brown, and so on. Since the shadows were creeping in, I was heading back into the woods and onto the trail home, then this guy here popped out of the bushes right by me and stood still just long enough for me me to snap a quick shot. Alright, enough blabbering, for now at least

Thanks Larry - the deer said to contact the agency, and would be happy to model again in the future...

Nice one, its good when animals co-operate. As I say about birding, the more you go out the more luck you have, or perhaps you could call that experience.

cheers

Now to be a tad politically incorrect...

My modelling contract with the agency would guarantee to make it look a whole lot better... by putting it in my freezer.

You were quick on the draw to get such a well-composed shot in milliseconds, Robert. Super job.
