This was on day 4 of our 5 day trek to Hampta pass trek, Himachal Pradesh. One of the best treks I have been to, with lot of highs and a few lows. Highs being its eye catching landscapes everywhere you see.. lows being headache\no sleep due to high altitude sickness.. Its very clear one moment and absolute darkness the other. Its cool and pleasant one moment and suddenly starts pouring. All part of the climatic conditions there. The trek was just before the winter snow kicked in and our trek was the last batch as the snow makes it hard to follow the walking trails when they are all covered.. I heard snow leopard photography tours starts during the winter as its elusive and almost impossible to spot without the snow backdrop..
