Thanks Jer! To be honest I wasn't expecting much out of today's photos, but the DFA 150-450 seems to be kind of magical!

Very nice close up portrait. The 150-450 does a great job (and the photographer does, too)!

Thanks! I'm just happy that it's light enough to use hand-held. As much as I dream of a 500mm f2.8 lens, I don't fancy carrying it!

Thanks Heinrich! At first I thought that the dark shape on the bird's eye was the nictating membrane, but it's actually a shadow. I have another shot without the shadow, but I preferred this one.

Excellent capture Rob! It shows all of those fine neck feathers and terrific eye detail.
