A landscape shot isn't complete without a bear...
Posted By: bertwert, 05-11-2020, 10:07 AM

It's got all the parts of a landscape shot - sky, mountains, trees, fields, and bears! A three image stitch as my A 400 was too long for the shot.

I believe the largest of the Elk family so, not exactly like a big deer. Think, so tall they hit the windscreen and not the radiator if you hit one.

Title says it all. Without the bear, or some such plush thing, it would be quite empty photo waiting for some special light to happen.

Thanks! I've tried a couple telephoto landscape shots in the field, with the field trees, and mountains, but they're always plain and need something more. The little touch of black from the bear helps out quite a bit! Now, if I could position that herd of elk in a similar area next time they're through there...

Well done - nice of the bear to place himself there for you!

Thanks Jim - that bear likes to hang out in that corner of the field

It's be nice if we could just position wild animals into our shots...
One of Teresa's ex's had a stuffed coyote.. she keeps wondering if he'd give it to us.
