A landscape shot isn't complete without a bear...
Lens: A 400/5.6 Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Golden, BC ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F11
Posted By: bertwert, 05-11-2020, 10:07 AM

It's got all the parts of a landscape shot - sky, mountains, trees, fields, and bears! A three image stitch as my A 400 was too long for the shot.

Very nice Robert! Glad you had a long lens as Mr. Bear might still be hungry after the long winter's nap!

Thanks - luckily there's plenty of food in the spring for them so they don't need to supplement their diet with wandering bertwerts...

Funny you should say that Norm, I don't know what happened but as I was going through photos from this morning they all had tons of dust which I had to clean up...

Tess is really good at cleaning sensors, if you're ever out this way.

I got myself the Pentax sensor cleaning stick thingy a few years back - really easy and effective. It would have probably been easier to go back out and take new photos after I had cleaned the sensor than all the time cloning them out in the photos...

It may surprise you to know that... I'm actually quite happy to have "bearless" landscapes.

Thanks - a wider lens would have made the overall shooting easier (less processing), but it worked out okay

Do you not find them a bit bare?

It's be nice if we could just position wild animals into our shots...

Not usually... we could feed the bears the English.
